In meeting the ever increasing demand for different crops quality seeds, Energypac has now reached another milestone by entering into a research and development agreement with internationally renowned Dhannya/ Metahelix life Sciences of India. This cooperation agreement opens up further opportunities for Agro G to produce and market best quality seeds to be developed in collaboration with one of the leading field crop seed companies in India.

On 16th January,2010, Dr. K.K. Narayanan, Managing Director and Dr. Gautham Nadig, Head of R&D of Dhannya seeds visited several product trial fields of Energypac and expressed satisfaction over the progress of our agricultural innovation. They also visited Energypac R&D center at Hotapara under Gazipur district where breeding programs mainly on rice and vegetable seeds are being carried out. Later they paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Agriculture University, Salna, Gazipur.

Both the eminent scientists held dialogues on different issues of equity participation with Mr. Humayun Rashid, CEO and Dr. S.B. Naseem, SVP at a city hotel in Dhaka last 16 January. Dr. Wais Kabir, Chairman, Bangladesh Agriculture Research Council (BARC) and two other scientists who are Members of BARC and SAARC were present on the occasion, exchanged knowledge of individual country’s agricultural advancement and agreed to extend cooperation for success of the joint venture by Energypac Agro and Dhannya Seed. Different Department Heads of the company attended the meeting.
